"We have always been interested in expressing ourselves, and this is a tangible way of making Peruvian art and expressing our ancestors' values.
"It all started when we saw a magazine promoting different aspects of Peru, and they featured an arts and crafts school for children and teenagers to present their work to the world. That's when we had a vision of showing to the world Peru's traditional artistry. We are aware that we might have some challenges to face, but they are inherent to our artistry.
"Since each piece generates an emotional value, seeing that our creations are accepted makes us proud. Each piece we make is filled with our history, our culture and our warm feelings."
