"I always been very close to crafts and artistic manifestations of the most varied forms. My parents are architects and the entire family had ties to art. It was a privilege to be acquainted with art and artists.
"I decided to study publicity and to work in the area of design and communications. Always tuned in to what was happening in the artistic milieu, I tried to associate my work with art. I got married and when my daughter was born, I raised her in the same way that I was educated. I always showed her artistic references and she was quite interested from the time she was small. She became an actress at the age of seven. Since then, I accompany her to film sets and am always present during tapings and when she travels. I take advantage of this to renew my contact with the diversity of Brazilian crafts. Besides acquiring knowledge, I find inspiration in each location and, perhaps, create a new piece based on that culture.
"My designs began with my admiration for Brazilian stones. The beauty that nature offers us in the tropics, the stones' innate shine and energy are fabulous. I take advantage of these natural qualities and combine them with a modern and original design for each finished piece.
"Contact with different cultures and the forms in which they use their adornments led me to design an exclusive line to showcase the natural beauty that exists on earth and its radiance when well used.
"As I was always involved with this artistic universe, resuming this work was a great moment in my life, one of accomplishment and personal rescue. Being able to continue accompanying my daughter and to combine my studies and deepening knowledge of Brazil's many cultures is satisfying, as is crafting delicate and modern pieces with these beautiful tropical gems."
