Reema and Vicky

"We are Reema and Vicky Arora, a husband and wife designing team. Reema was born on June 19, 1974 and I was born on September 21, 1972. We design clothes together, and enjoy bouncing ideas off each other.

"We belong to the same religious group in India, the Nirankari mission, and we came to know each other better through our congregation's meetings. To our delight, we found out that we shared many interests, including garments. Traditionally it is the sat guru, Baba Hardev Singh Ji, who arranges marriages among its members. By God's grace he chose us for each other. Everyone was as happy as we were with his choice.

"Reema did her training at the Polytechnic University, as well as professional diploma courses from the National Institute of Fashion Technology - the best in India. I on the other hand, was exposed to the fashion world at a very young age, when I was helping my brother in the fabric business, because my father had passed away.

"We enjoy designing sophisticated apparel with the old stitching and printing techniques. Together with people who specialize in traditional hand-embroidered techniques, our vision is realized. Our aim is to create designs can be worn by people of all places and cultures.

"Our creations have been greatly appreciated by people who visit us from Canada, the UK, and Dubai. We would love to hear from you and your suggestions. After all, we are creating each piece with you in mind."
