Abel Rios

"I've dedicated myself to crafting fine leather products since the age of sixteen. Initially, I helped my Uncle Alfonso in his leather workshop. He asked me to work for him, and with that providential start I learned the wondrous art of shaping leather. When I was twenty-three years old, I decided to become an independent artisan and I opened my own workshop in my house.

"Since then, my work has improved considerably. These days, my work consists of cutting, embossing and engraving fine leather with a distinct professional touch you can't find anywhere else. I sell the resulting products to arts and crafts stores and export firms. But I am especially happy and proud that my products are being sold through Novica."
