Nando Orellana

Known by his nickname "Nando," Fernando Orellana was born in Lima on November 6, 1978. F From a very young age, one of his dreams was to become a fashion designer. After graduating with a college degree in economics, he went to work in an import-export company. But his heart remains in creating.

"I recently began designing jewelry - and I love it!" he says. "Whenever I get the chance, I create new pieces. I really like obsidian and the way it combines with silver, but I also fancy faceted gems. My pieces are all different, and individual stones inspire most of my items. I began by selling my designs among my friends. But since my jewelry is very original, a Peruvian fashion magazine asked to feature them, and now I'm developing additional relationships with other media.

"Each piece I make emits good energy, because when I create I am happy, and I communicate this through my art."
