"I was born in the capital on March 8, 1965," says Myriam de Dupont. "I am a self-taught artist. It was my husband who first ventured into this artistic world in 1992." He crafted a line of window frames and floor coverings in wood.
"I'd go into his workshop and it was exciting to see the fascinating forms in pieces of scrap wood," she confides. "I was determined to use my own ideas in designs that take advantage of the wood, and today I feel proud of the imaginative and useful pieces I create. I began in 2004.
