Sunil Tambi and the Artisans of Rajasthan

"Hello, my name is Sunil Tambi and I was born and brought up in the beautiful and colorful town of Jaipur - a place where color is synonymous to life. I was born on April 5th, 1966. My family has been in the textile business for the last few decades. I was helping my family until I became enthralled by the enormous creativity and prospects of handicrafts. This was about 7 years ago.

"I got into contact with expert artisans from around Jaipur and gradually started to focus on handicrafts from around the country. Today, I work with artisans from Jaipur and we produce items such as textile work, marble products, Christmas decorations, all kind of Gujarati items, etc. India has got so much to offer in the field of handicrafts and it always gives me immense joy to be in this field and preserve our legendary crafts. I also work with designers who are constantly working on new designs to suit the customers' taste. Besides, our products go through a very stringent quality check.

"Our work is appreciated in India as well as abroad, including Europe and Japan. We have had a steady stream of work and demand for our products keeps increasing. I am proud to mention that our once small venture grows with every year. That's quite an achievement I should say!"

"I am so proud to be a part of Novica. This the right place for us to get maximum exposure."
