"Hello, everyone. I'm very happy to show you my work through Novica. I became involved in this art through my mother, Mrs. Inéz Chávez, and together we set up a workshop in 1995. We named it 'Forget Me Not' like the flower, so you'll remember us.
"There, we design jewelry in silver and Mexican pewter. The pieces are crafted by artisans from Taxco with whom we have worked for many years. I grow the flowers in a greenhouse. There, we have all kinds of flowers and their beauty and colors are characteristic of our designs.
"When the blossom is ready, we cut it with great care and dry it. This process takes about three months from the time it was planted. There are more than 28 kinds of miniature flowers and they require special care to preserve their natural color and their fresh appearance.
"We have many designs and we change them according to the seasonal blossoms we use. Our production is limited and each piece is crafted totally by hand with traditional tools. For this reason, no two pieces are ever identical.
"We hope our efforts help you appreciate our love for nature and its preservation. With each of our designs, we send you a hug and will never forget you. Finally, our thanks to Novica for helping people like us."
