Elizabeth and Eduardo Prado

Elizabeth and Eduardo Prado are not only married in real life but are also united in their love for glass.

Elizabeth graduated with a degree in arts from Mackensie University and Eduardo is an architect from the University of Sao Paulo, both in Brazil.

In the late '80s they decided to make their passion for glass their way of life. With this in mind, they moved to America to attend classes in "kiln formed glass."

Since then, they have been working with many different glass techniques – blown glass, pate-de-verre, fusing and casting.

As Elizabeth says, "What enchanted me in glass is the possibility of working with colors, transparency or opacity, all in the same piece."
