"I was born in Cuzco on January 22, 1975, and I come from a family of master ceramists. My parents taught me everything I know, from preparing the clay, using the potter's wheel and shaping the pieces, and hand-painting the motifs. By the time I was 22 years old I was working on my own.

"I enjoy mixing the old with the new, unifying cultures into one. My hands guide me, and that's the most amazing part of my art. I love the exchange of happy and radiant colors that makes each piece more luminous.
