"My name is Naowarach Chaiyasien and my nickname is 'Num,' which means 'young man' in the Thai language. After graduating from school, I decided to work in ceramics.
"When I was young, I enjoyed molding the clay into various shapes such as people, animals and imaginary figures. Being a famous artist and having my own shop was my ambition, and I wanted to sell my handicrafts to tourists or others who love this work like I do. I really feel a love for my works because I do it all – 100% – myself. Moreover, the Thai government encourages traditional crafts. That is the reason why I'm very proud of my work.
"I have a dream that my pottery can be accepted by all Thai people and also by foreigners. Nowadays I also display my work in Europe and in Japan. And I think Novica offers an opportunity to make my dream come true."
