Dolores and Aaron

"Hola. We are Dolores and Aaron, faithful admirers of Mexico's cultural richness. As time went by, we became aware of the great need for a change in order to preserve the handicrafts of our people. As we talked about these feelings and did some research, we decided to start a workshop to develop and create new contemporary fashions based on the ethnic concept of Mexican culture.

"In this way, we work together to design and create collections in different areas renowned for their unique cultural richness. And so, together with specialized artisans, we are developing articles that are decorative and useful. One of the areas we have focused on is textiles, although we are also working in jewelry without losing the ancient techniques and processes in either.

"In our textile workshop, we work with local artists and artisans to create a collection for today's decoration trends. We offer a series of wool rugs, woven using traditional techniques.

"The process begins with shearing the sheep. The wool is washed, carded and spun as it has been for centuries, and the hanks are dyed using natural colors. The yarn is then woven on handlooms.

"Our designs transform an innovative vision into individual works of art. Our collection harmonizes an established Mexican art form and the timeless simplicity of contemporary design."
