Born in Lima on January 5, 1964, Arturo Martínez is an industrial engineer. Since 1995, he has specialized in leather craft. Martínez's parents are in the clothing industry where he learned many of the techniques he applies to leather.

The designer prefers such lines as desk accessories, handbags, briefcases and luggage. He uses hand tools and accessories such as attractive zippers, snaps and buckles.
