Toribio Huaraca Gutiérrez was born April 12, 1963 in Ayacucho. From the time he was very small he liked art, and this grew into a desire to create beautiful things. Thus he decided to become an artisan.

An independent ceramist since 1990, Huaraca finds that time and patience are necessary to craft a superior work of art. He has plenty of both.
