"Hi, I'm Sandro and I'm from the state of San Luis Potosí. I began to design and craft jewelry just by chance – I never expected to be doing this! It all began when I went to Peru to visit some relatives, and one day one of my aunts was taking a class on jewelry making at home. I was sitting next to her, just observing. Never did I imagine what it was about to unleash in my life…
"So as not to get bored, I started picking up my aunt's left over materials and starting making some items too. That's how it all really started. That was in 1998, and after that I continued making jewelry items as a hobby. However, in 2005, I decided to work on this more seriously, especially after seeing my mother make bracelets. I started creating original designs, which people seemed to like, and I began buying materials with a clearer image of what I had in mind. I went to Oaxaca state to learn the art of silver filigree, to give more movement to my designs.
"I work with silver, gemstones and different kinds of beads and crystals. I make each piece by hand.
"I haven't taken any formal instruction, as such, but I have had a lot of experience, as well as the will to make things properly. My inspiration and creativity guide my work."
