Leticia Orozco Santana began to design jewelry items when she was 19 years old. Over the years she evolved into designing a variety of accessories including textiles, weaves, jewelry and hats.
"Gemstones have always been my passion," admits Orozco, and in 1992 she decided to learn about different silversmith techniques, as well as cutting and polishing gemstones. By 1994, Orozco settled on a style she has termed "contemporary baroque," influenced by nature's varied forms and textures.
Her designs found considerable recognition and eventually she was able to establish her own studio workshop with the support of her family. ...
