"My full name is Jacqueline Susana Lopez Alva, born on 20 May, 1976. I owe my artistic inclinations to my mother, who used to be a fashion designer. Art flows through my veins and I am proud of that.

"I have always enjoyed designing, particularly jewelry. I used to go to nearby markets searching for a necklace or a bracelet, but I was never completely satisfied with what I saw. So, I used to buy more than one, tear them apart, and make one piece according to my own design. Eventually I decided to learn about design and silversmith techniques, so I visited several workshops and learn from those who would have me around.
