Cushion covers, 'Blue Ivy Floral' (set of 2)

Like mystical snowflakes of stellar elegance, these cushion covers adorn with graceful symmetry in blue. Giresh Dhar

"Hello, my name is Giresh Dhar and I was born on March 29, 1961 in the valley of Kashmir. I have spent most of life in Kashmir. I was always attracted to the scenic beauty of the valley. Nothing was planned about my life. I accepted things as they came when I was growing up. I was inclined to enter the field of textile handicrafts. So, after my schooling and college, I was trained as a Textile Engineer. Then I worked as production manager for one textile company. I worked for about 3 or 4 years and during my tenure I was assigned to the very tough task of quality control. This was the time when I thought, why not try my own hand at textile handicrafts? I was already familiar with the system and how it worked, so I joined hands with another partner and established a manufacturing and export house under the banner of Integrated Cotton. We have two factories in Tamil Nadu and one factory here in Delhi. We have had a tremendous response from our buyers.

"I slowly decided to organized artisans from my valley to make Kashmiri goods. I feel the goodness of Kashmiri lies in its exquisite hand-woven shawls or throws or rugs. And being Kashmiri by birth I thought this way I can keep up with the tradition of Kashmir and help exhibit the rich traditional style of my Valley."
