"These butterflies are very common in our meadows in Andean districts like Moro and Pillpinto." Working on the handloom, the master weaver creates a cheerful kaleidoscope in virgin wool.

"I was born on 27 September, 1972 in Ayacucho. Weaving runs through my veins. I grew up amid looms and wefts since my family has been dedicated to weaving for several generations. I used to help my parents in the little rustic workshop they used to have. We faced a lot of hardships, but we managed to pull through. I had to work in other workshops, which actually made me learn more about different details and such.
