Global Mamas

Global Mamas is a non profit association of Ghanaian women who have come together with a common goal: to enhance the international marketplace with unique, high quality, handmade apparel, and at the same time provide sustainable livelihoods for women and girls in Africa.

"We believe that helping women gain economic independence is the most effective way to reduce dependence on foreign aid and steadily create a prosperous society.

"Our hope and mission is that women in Africa become economically independent."

Global Mamas works with 14 small women-led businesses in Ghana that produce quality garments and accessories for babies, children and adults.

For Global Mamas, quality is essential, and they go to great lengths to ensure the quality of all items produced in the different workshops that work with the association.
