People would also be hard-pressed to see Titik lounging about in her house. She is a hard-working woman dedicated to the design of shawls, sarongs and embroidered
kebayas, which are part of traditional attires. These items of Indonesian clothing are worn on special occasions such as visiting the temple and making offerings. Titik works from home, surrounded be fellow homemakers wishing to contribute to their families' finances.
"My husband and I work very hard to provide for our two daughters," Titik confides. "We really want to offer them the opportunity of a good education and the possibility to achieve their highest dreams."
